St. Joseph’s Church, Rihand Nagarcelebrated their patron’s feast on the 21^st of April 2013. On thisauspicious occasion, the Eucharistic celebration began at 10.am. in the benignpresence of our honorable Rt. Rev. Bishop Ignatius Menezes, the ApostolicAdministrator of Allahabad, Rev. Fr. Francis Xavier and Rev. Fr. Santosh Kumar,the Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Church, Rihand Nagar. A procession was ledinto the Church with the traditional folk dance by the parishioners. A cordialwelcome was accorded in the introduction, where the qualities of our patronsaint were also enumerated. The Bishop, in the homily, appraised everyonepresent of the innumerable qualities imbibed in our Patron St. Joseph andrequested each and every member to live his or her life in the same manner. Itwas followed by a grand love feast with delicious lunch prepared by the parishionerswhich was enjoyed by everyone. “Let the blessing of our Patron St. Joseph bepoured down upon all the parishioners,” were the words of bishop at the end ofthe mass.
