A Brief History:
Khrist Bhawan, Mudila mission was involved in the education of the poor children right from its very beginning. The pioneers had started the boarding house for the boys. They built a small primary school-Rashtriya Shishu catholic Primary Pathshala. It got its permanent recognition on in 1962. Unfortunately the school got closed in 1974 during the tenure of Fr. Prabhu. But Fr. Thomas Serrao really worked hard to reopen it in 1979. Since the area is interior and backward, having only 35% literacy rate, there was a real need and demand from the villagers to start a junior high school. Hence the junior high school started in 1990. Fr. William Mathias was the priest in-charge of Mudila. He started the process and worked hard to get the recognition for the Junior high school. He worked really hard to put up a magnificent school building with the support and encouragement of Rt. Rev. Isidore Fernandes. It is during the tenure of Fr. Damien Gomes the Junior School got its temporary recognition on 29th June 2002.

People in and around the area have been continuously expressing, Fr. Leo Sequeira is the mission in-charge, the real need to start a high school for the children. Fr. Vincent Pereira, the assistant pastor worked vigourously for the High School recognition which he got on 29 July 2011, besides acquiring the Minority Status Certificate on 12 December 20011. To start a high school we needed a building. Fr. Vincent with the permission and support of Rt. Rev. Isidore Fernandes started the new school building, the construction of which began in October 2011. The construction work on the new building was completed by 2013. Samaritan sisters are doing a great job in our school by their dedicated service and involvement in our education apostolate. In the year 2012, the staff strength was 17 and the student strength was 917.
